An unknown shooter fired 6 shots at a man who was attending a Turlock Covenant Church prayer meeting on Sunday.
A 57 year old man arrived at the Turlock Covenant Church for a Sunday morning prayer meeting at 316 S. Laurel Street. The victim was confronted by an unknown male subject, wielding a small handgun around 5:25am.
The victim was fired at 5-6 times, but not injured. The suspect fled, running through the backyard of a nearby residence.
Nobody was injured and nobody has been arrested.
The victim did not recognize the shooter described to be in his late 20s. There is no known relation or connection between the victim and unknown suspect. There are no indications that the victim is gang affiliated.
