On Sunday, September 19th, 2021, at 3:10 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of East Ave and S Golden State Blvd, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they found two vehicles involved. One was a silver Nissan pickup truck and the other was a black Cadillac sedan.
The silver Nissan pickup truck had three occupants, including a five-year old girl. Original reports were that the five-year old girl was pinned inside the vehicle, however, she was found out when crews arrived. She suffered minor injuries and was ground transported by American Medical Response to a local hospital. The other two occupants in the vehicle suffered minor injuries but refused to be transported. The black Cadillac sedan only had one occupant, the driver, and he did not suffer any injuries.
Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were deemed inoperable as a result of the collision, requiring them to be towed away.
It is currently unknown how the collision occurred.
