The Turlock area is currently experiencing a Charter Spectrum service outage.
According a Charter Spectrum representative, the outage occurred at approximately 2:28 p.m.
No time table was given for restoration of services.
Previous Charter Spectrum service outages were attributed to damage to a fiber optic cable. This led to an outage that was hours long.
Engineers are aware of the problem and are working to restore service as soon as possible.
“Damage to a third-party carrier’s fiber-optic network is impacting service for Spectrum customers in the Turlock area. That carrier has been engaged and is working to repair the damage as quickly as possible,” said Charter’s Charter’s Regional Communications – Northwest representative, Bret Picciolo.
