On Tuesday, November 30th, 2021, at 9:50 pm, a Turlock Police officer responding to assist on a traffic stop had his patrol vehicle struck by a bicyclist at the intersection of W Olive Ave and N Golden State Blvd, Turlock.
The bicyclist and involved officer, Officer Marco Diaz, were both uninjured. Diaz’s partner, Canine Ace, was also uninjured.
The patrol vehicle and bicycle both sustained minor damage.
It is currently unknown how the collision occurred, however, the area of impact on the patrol vehicle was near its front right tire.
