On Friday, March 24th, 2023, at 9:53 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of Fulkerth Rd and N Tully Rd, Turlock.
When crews arrived on scene, they found two vehicles involved. The first was a white 2015 GMC Yukon and the second was a bicycle.
Neither of the white Yukon’s occupants suffered any injuries, while the bicyclist suffered minor injuries. The bicyclist refused to be transported to the hospital.
The white Yukon sustained minor damage and was able to be driven away from the scene.
The investigation revealed that the bicyclist was at fault due to pulling out in front of the white Yukon while he had a red traffic signal. Regardless of this, the bicyclist had an attitude the entire time and got loud with the investigating officer several times.
