A juvenile was medflighted out of Dennis Earl Elementary on Sunday evening following a bicycle accident.

American Medical Response and the Turlock Fire Department were called to Dennis Earl around 6 p.m. on Sunday after a juvenile was involved in a bicycle accident. The Turlock Police Department responded to assist on the call, said Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

Several reports on Facebook said two bicyclists collided, but this has not been confirmed.

As a result of the injuries from the accident, one juvenile needed to be airlifted to an area hospital, said Lewis.

The nature of the juvenile’s injuries remains unknown, as does the juvenile’s current condition.
