Many who were stopped in the traffic caused by the collision that claimed the life of a Turlock man on Thursday afternoon may have noticed a pile of smoke coming from the Farmers & Merchants Bank on Geer Road.
A vehicle had caught fire, but members of the Turlock Fire Department were able to quickly extinguish the fire.

At about 12:54pm Tuesday, Turlock Police, Turlock Fire, and American Medical Response responded to an aggravated assault that had just occurred at the Turlock Chamber of Commerce in the 100 block of S. Golden State Boulevard.
