Day 1A and 1B of the WPTDeepStacks Main Event at Turlock Poker Room and Casino are in the books, and the stakes are higher than ever.

Registration for first $1,000 buy-in Main Event hosted by Turlock Poker Room and Casino closed Saturday with 152 total entries and a prize pool of $136,800.

This weekend’s event is the first event in new mid-level poker tour formed by the partnership between DeepStacks, a long-time partner of Turlock Poker Room and Casino, and the World Poker Tour.

Players are not just competing for the $35,225 first-place prize, but also for points toward the WPTDeepStacks Player of the Year award.
