It may not be the big city, but Turlock sees its own rush hour in the evenings as drivers commute home from work.
Most of the open road down Geer Road stays relatively clear, but there are a few spots that get congested between the hours of about 5 and 7 p.m. Like this stop at Geer and Santa Fe roads, where cars are often lined up during the mini rush hour.
Although the “traffic” isn’t bad compared to some other commutes, drivers have to remember to be patient and refrain from tailgating to avoid bumping the car in front of them.
