Three men were arrested in Turlock on Thursday after they were seen walking down the street with what appeared to be a handgun.
A Turlock police officer was notified that there were three suspicious men, one with a handgun, in the area of Fulkerth Road and Logan Lane around 4:43 p.m.
As the officer encountered the suspects, they were allegedly attempting to conceal the “handgun.” The handgun was later determined to be an airsoft gun.
However, the suspects were found to be in violation of other laws. They were apprehended by police and arrested.
William Harris, 39, was arrested and booked for possession of a dirk or dagger. Isaias Tereza, 34, was arrested and booked for resisting arrest and public intoxication. Jonathan Montgomery, 25, was arrested and booked for public intoxication.
