Turlock police are looking for a suspect who was involved in a west Turlock shooting around midnight last night.

Turlock police responded to the 400 block of West Avenue at 12:09 a.m. on a report of a shooting.

A 23-year-old male was shot by an unknown suspect driving a dark vehicle while the victim was walking in the 400 block of West Avenue, said Turlock Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Victor Barcelos.

It is unknown what injuries the victim suffered, but the injuries were non life-threatening and the victim was transported to a local hospital, Barcelos said.

The shooting is currently under investigation and there are no suspects at this time.
