The No. 7 seed Warriors continue their historic Cinderella story run in the Div. II NCAA Tournament after knocking off No. 3 seed Cal Poly Pomona 75-69 in overtime on Saturday.
The Warriors will now face Chico State, who beat Cal State San Bernardino 94-77 on Saturday, in the West Division Final, in what will be a rematch of the CCAA Tournament Final.
The Warriors’ Taylor Bell had a career-high 22 points in Saturday’s win.
Marcus Bell pulled out another postseason double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds, continuing his hot streak.
The Warriors extended their winning streak to 9 and improving to 23-8 overall, extending their school record performance.
The CCAA rivals will face-off on Monday at 7:00 p.m.
