The Stanislaus County Office of Education’s Youth Entertainment Stage (YES) Company is seeking students in grades 7-12 to be actors, singers, dancers, and crew for a production of “Peter Pan” to be performed at the Gallo Center for the Arts in Modesto.
Turlock auditions will be held at 11 a.m., March. 29, at the California State University Stanislaus Theatre, One University Circle, Building 7 in Turlock.
Celebrating its 23rd season, YES Company is a special project of the Stanislaus County Office of Education and the Education Foundation of Stanislaus County. This group of dedicated students must commit to a rigorous summer practice schedule that includes some weekends, June 1 to July 31. The time frame includes intensive theatrical training, teambuilding and fitness, in addition to music and staging preparations. The professionally staffed program is provided to the participants free of charge.
