The California State University, Stanislaus School of the Arts is once again featuring the talented direction of Los Angeles-based artist Amy Seeley.

Seely will direct “The Monologue Show,” a piece written and performed by CSU Stanislaus students. The performance is sure to enchant audiences with its authenticity and relevance to family life.

“We cannot control where our life stories start,” says Seeley. “We cannot fix our families. But we can be grateful for the imperfections, and we can consider the possibilities – the dreams yet to be realized.”

Seeley stated that the show’s message is simple – to embody loved ones and share their personal struggles, hopes, regrets and dreams. The production is centered around original, personal and entertaining monologues, performed by students.

The show will have several evening shows March 6 through 8 and 13 through 15 at 8 p.m. There will be two 2 p.m. shows March. 9 and 16. The show will be held in the CSU Stanislaus Studio Theatre. For campus maps and locations, visit www.csustan.edu/directories/Maps/.
