Masked Men Invade Turlock Home

A Turlock man fought off two masked men, one armed with a firearm, after they broke into his home on Friday night.

According to Turlock Police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis, the two masked men entered a home on the 700 block of The Burl through an unlocked back door.

A man was home and noticed the two men from his bedroom. When he went to see what was happening, he noticed one man had a handgun.

The armed suspect demanded money and property, but the victim fought off the unarmed man and ran out of the front door, yelling for help.

Both suspects fled.

Turlock police responded to a disturbance in progress at 10:24 p.m. and were unable to find the suspects after an extensive search of the area.

The victim was not injured and nothing was reported stolen.

The two suspects were wearing black clothing, ski masks and gloves. The armed suspect was described as having a skinny build, standing about 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 7 inches tall. The unarmed suspect was described as also have having a skinny build and stating about 5 feet, 5 inches tall.
