It's my absolute pleasure to announce the latest step in TurlockCityNews.com's evolution.
TurlockCityNews.com has entered into a partnership with The Signal, the California State University, Stanislaus student-run paper, to better serve our community with the best local news.
Through this partnership, TurlockCityNews.com will regularly re-print stories penned by writers from The Signal. This will give TurlockCityNews.com readers a unique, first-person view into issues in the campus community. And, of course, it will give these budding writers a chance to earn both professional experience and greater exposure.
The Signal will also re-print stories from TurlockCityNews.com, both in its print edition and online at www.csusignal.com, increasing the availability of community news to students. The Signal prints weekly, except during school vacations, and is distributed on the CSU Stanislaus campus.
Of course, all articles which are printed through this partnership will clearly indicate the publication of origin and credit the reporters' hard work.
Articles by The Signal may be easily found on TurlockCityNews.com under our new “Campus News” tab. Similarly, TurlockCityNews.com articles which have been reproduced on www.csusignal.com will be collated under a new “Community News” tab.
