The Turlock branch of the Stanislaus County Library has several fun events planned for the month of December.
The month begins with a fun Grinch Hunt which will run from Dec. 2 to 31. Small prizes will be given to children who are able to find the Grinch’s hiding place in the library.
Avid readers are invited to attend a Book Club discussion at 10:30 a.m Wednesday. December’s book is “In the Lake of the Woods,” by Tim O’Brien.
On Dec. 30, the library will host the Xtreme Science Magic Show. Families will have the chance to enjoy a science-related magic show that will entertain and educate children of all ages.
“The magic show is a fun performance, and it is a good learning experience,” said Librarian Susan Lilly.
The Turlock Library is located at 550 Minaret Ave. For more information, contact the library at (209) 664-8100.
