The Stanislaus County Drug Task Force seized $840,000 in cash, 4 pounds of methamphetamine, 4 firearms including an inert hand grenade, and arrested 12 people in a drug distribution network investigation that has been ongoing since October of 2008.
Eight search warrants were served on Thursday, 6 in Turlock, 1 in Ceres, and 1 in Delhi.
Thursday’s searches resulted in 9 of the 12 arrests, 1 of the 4 pounds of methamphetamine, and $140,000 of the $840,000 in cash total.
Raymond Mendosa Sr. (57 of Turlock), Raymond Mendosa Jr. (32 of Delhi), Tony Moitoso (45 of Turlock), Carl Moitoso (50 of Turlock), Toni Holmboe (36 of Turlock), Tiffany Jantz (36 of Ceres), Chantel Beaughan (no age released of Delhi), and a 17 year old minor from Turlock were all arrested on Thursday.
The previous March 11, 2009 bust resulted in the arrest of Noel Castillo (36 of Turlock), Denice Hector (33 of Turlock), and Alfredo Ayala (30 of Turlock).
It is reported that the investigation is ongoing and more arrests may be made.
