With the summer heat expected to crest 100 degrees in the coming weeks, the City of Turlock will be providing fun activities at each of the community pools to celebrate July as Parks and Recreation Month.
Each pool will feature various activities Monday through Thursday, including: Music Monday, where guests can enjoy swimming while listening to a variety of music; Game Day Tuesday, where staff will lead games such as Marco Polo, Sharks and Minnows, and more; Wacky Wednesday, where noodles, rings and other swimming-related toys will be available for guests to enjoy; and Fitness Thursday, where staff will lead fitness activities both in and out of the water.
Pool fees are $1.00 for youth, ages 4 to 17, and $2.00 for adults, ages 18 and over. Children age 3 and under get in free with a paying adult.
