The Turlock Police Department arrested 50-year-old Adam Sawyer on Monday after he was seen stumbling into traffic at the cross-section of Geer and Hedstrom roads at approximately 12:05 p.m.
According to Turlock Police, Sawyer was arrested for public intoxication. After being arrested and searched by an officer, Sawyer was also found to be in possession of heroin.
Sawyer was arrested and booked by the Turlock Police Department for both public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance.
