Nearly 20 adult men took part in a vicious Turlock street fight Monday, where at least three men were stabbed.
Turlock Police were alerted to the brawl near the 500 block of Wolfe Avenue, just blocks from the Turlock Police Department, by a call from concerned neighbors at around 8:50 p.m. As Turlock Police arrived on scene, many of the men began to flee from the authorities.
One man was found laying on the ground bleeding. After determining the man had been stabbed, he was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
Two more victims came forward with stab wounds, and several others were kicked and/or punched during the street fight. According to the Turlock Police Department, there were no life-threatening injuries as a result of the brawl.
“At this point we are uncertain as to whether the street brawl was gang-related,” said Sgt. Stephen Webb of the Turlock Police Department.
The street fight is currently under investigation by the Turlock Police Department. Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to contact Officer James Brewer at (209) 668-5550 ext. 6631.
