The Turlock Police Department arrested 45-year old Kreig Bettencourt on Friday on suspicion of using a fake identification card and stolen credit card.
Bettencourt had used the fake ID and stolen credit card to rent a generator, Turlock police said.
Turlock Police officers stopped Bettencourt outside a local business in the 1400 block of South Avenue on Friday at approximately 5:20 a.m. with the rented generator.
Turlock Police Department spokesperson Mayra Lewis said that other false ID cards were found on Bettencourt upon his arrest, and also a second generator.
Bettencourt was arrested by the Turlock Police Department on charges of fraud, forgery, burglary and possession of stolen property.
