On Thursday, January 20th, 2022, at 8:56 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported armed robbery that had just occurred at Chevron ExtraMile, 3420 W Monte Vista Ave, Turlock.
Officers arrived on scene and began investigating, learning that a subject had entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded currency from the clerk. The clerk complied and gave the subject an undisclosed amount of currency, before he fled the store on foot, possibly heading southbound on N Tegner Rd.
The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male in his 20s, standing about 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing a black hat, black mask, black hoodie, white gloves, gray sweatpants, and white Nike shoes. The gun used was a black handgun.
Officers checked the area for the suspect, but were unable to locate him.
The investigation remains on-going.
