Lora J. DeMatos
August 14, 1982 – February 4, 2009
Viewing for Lora DeMatos, 26, will be held noon to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Turlock Funeral Home Chapel, 425 North Soderquist Rd. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the same location. Interment to follow at Turlock Memorial Park. She passed away peacefully in her home Wednesday.
Lora was born in Turlock to Wayne and Charlene Fry. She graduated from Denair High School in 2000 and continued to Stanislaus State where she received her BA in Criminal Justice. She was currently attending law school.
In June 2007, Lora married Joseph DeMatos and gained two step children, Justin and Mikayla. Lora and Joseph were expecting their first child together.
Lora enjoyed bowling, camping in Pismo and helping others.
Lora is survived by her husband, Joseph DeMatos; parents, Wayne and Charlene Fry; and sisters, Kathryn Macias and Jaime Storment.
