At about 3:35am Thursday, Turlock Police responded to a suspicious person at Lakeside Apartments in the 2900 block of Andre Lane.

The caller reported that while they were leaving for work, they observed a man walking around with a slim jim.

Officers arrived on scene and located David Woolsey, 51, of Turlock.

When officers had their dispatcher run Woolsey, he returned with a $3,000 misdemeanor bench warrant for elder abuse or endangerment under circumstances other than those likely to produce great bodily harm or death.

Woolsey was arrested and released on a citation for his warrant.
