At about 9:50pm Friday, Turlock Police responded to an occupied suspicious vehicle in the 1300 block of Pioneer Avenue.

The caller reported a vehicle had parked at the end of the street in the middle of the road and two people kept walking around it, slamming the doors and looking inside. The caller also stated the vehicle had recklessly arrived.

Officers arrived on scene and located the vehicle, contacting its two occupants.

One of the two was identified as Sandra Diaz, 27, of Turlock.

When officers had their dispatcher run Diaz, they discovered she had three misdemeanor bench warrants. The first was $20,000 out of Modesto for trespassing, the second was $1,000 out of Stanislaus County for falsely identifying to a peace officer, and the third was $20,000 local for fleeing from a peace officer by vehicle and possession of a controlled substance.

Diaz was also found to be in possession of narcotics.

Diaz was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of a controlled substance and her warrants.
