At about 9:16pm Thursday, Turlock Police responded to a weapon offense at Arco AMPM in the 2300 block of Fulkerth Road.

The caller reported a man had just brandished a weapon at him and was now in the Walmart parking lot.

Officers arrived and began checking the area.

Officer Aziz located a man outside Glitter Nails who matched the description. He was contacted and identified as Amritpal Singh, 29, of Turlock.

Through the investigation, it was determined no weapon had been brandished and the incident was just a disturbance.

Singh was then discovered to have 11 misdemeanor bench warrants out of Livingston totaling $74,000 for contempt of court, telephoning with intent to annoy, interfering with a business establishment open to the public, and electronic harassment.
