Man Arrested on Three Warrants Outside Convenience Store

At about 12:43am Tuesday, Turlock Police Sergeant Parmley got out with a suspicious person at 7-Eleven in the 2500 block of Geer Road.

Parmley had spotted someone who he believed was someone else who was wanted. It was quickly discovered it was a case of mistaken identity, but Parmley recognized the man as Dane Curry, 36, of Turlock.

When Parmley had his dispatcher run Curry, he discovered he had three misdemeanor bench warrants. The first was out of Tuolumne County for failure to appear and traffic-related charges, the second was $55,550 local for two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and the third was out of Stanislaus County for possession of a controlled substance.

Curry was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrants.
