At about 11:24pm Thursday, Turlock Police responded to a public intoxication in the 2800 block of Golf Road.

It was reported there was a person lying down on the overpass who appeared drunk.

Officers arrived on scene and contacted Isalla Hardy, 53, of San Jose.

When officers had their dispatcher run Hardy, they discovered he was a sex offender in compliance for sexual battery and on searchable probation for a violation of the California Health and Safety Code.

Hardy indeed displayed objective symptoms of being under the influence as reported and was unable to care for himself.

Hardy was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of disorderly conduct.
