Man Robbed at Gunpoint Inside Motel Room

At about 10:51pm Thursday, Turlock Police responded to an armed robbery that had just occurred at Motel 6 in the 200 block of S. Walnut Road.

The caller was the clerk who reported a bald and shirtless guest had just run by the office stating he’d been robbed at gunpoint, before continuing to run southbound on S. Walnut Road.

Officer Lupe arrived in the area and located the victim in the 300 block of S. Walnut Road.

The victim stated he’d been in his room when an unknown suspect entered it and robbed him of $350 at gunpoint.

The suspect reportedly fled on foot southbound on S. Walnut Road, and then possibly eastbound along the railroad tracks.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his thirties, 5′ 5″ tall, 145lbs, wearing a black face mask and red and black windbreaker. He also had a medical boot on his left foot and was limping as a result.

Officers checked the area for the suspect, but were unable to locate him.
