At about 12:04am Monday, Turlock Police Officer Arroyo got out with a suspicious person at Pactiv Evergreen in the 1500 block of W. Main Street.
Arroyo made contact with and identified the man as Richard Valencia, 39, of Turlock.
When Arroyo had his dispatcher run Valencia, he discovered he had a $75,000 felony bench warrant out of Stanislaus County for domestic violence inflicting corporal injury.
Valencia was arrested and a search incident to arrest led to the discovery of methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia.
Valencia was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of methamphetamines, possession of drug paraphernalia, and his warrant.
Officer Nunez then transported and dropped off Valencia’s property, including a bicycle, at an address he provided.
