At about 2:42am Wednesday, Turlock Police Officer Arroyo got out with an occupied suspicious vehicle at Arco AMPM in the 200 block of N. Golden State Boulevard.

Several subjects had been observed sitting in the vehicle with its doors open on the side of the gas station, two of which quickly scattered when they noticed Arroyo.

Arroyo made contact with and identified the remaining four occupants, including Matthew Arraiz, 48, of Turlock.

When Arroyo had his dispatcher run the four, he discovered Arraiz was locally wanted for burglary.

Arraiz was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of burglary.
