At about 1:58am Thursday, Turlock Police Officer Arroyo got out with two suspicious persons in the 100 block of I Street.

The two were identified, including Casey Nahinu, 41, of Modesto.

When Arroyo had his dispatcher run the two, he discovered that Nahinu was on searchable probation for buying or receiving a stolen vehicle and carrying a concealed dirk or dagger.

During a subsequent probation search of Nahinu, Arroyo located ammunition, which Nahinu is prohibited from possessing due to his convicted felon status that was confirmed through his rap sheet.

Nahinu was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of possession of ammunition.
