At about 12:21pm Saturday afternoon, Turlock Police, Turlock Fire, and American Medical Response responded to a sick person in the 4400 block of Tahama Lane.

When units arrived on scene, they found adults providing CPR to a small child who had drowned and took over.

The child was transported to a local hospital and then flown to a regional children’s hospital to receive better care.

Through the investigation, nothing criminal was discovered.

The police department stated that the child hadn’t drowned in a swimming pool, however, didn’t specify exactly what he had drowned in.

The latest update Turlock City News received is that the child is still alive.
