On Thursday, March 16th, 2023, at 11:32 pm, the Turlock Police Department, Turlock Fire Department, and American Medical Response were dispatched to a reported sick person in the parking lot of The Mobile Source, 231 W Canal Dr.

Officers arrived on scene first and found a man unresponsive in a white 2023 Toyota Tacoma. Officers removed the man from the vehicle and performed chest compressions until firefighters and paramedics arrived on scene.

Paramedics immediately declared the man deceased.

During the investigation, the decedent’s son told officers that his father had vomited earlier in the day. When the son attempted to call his father, he did not answer so the son set out to locate his father. The son tracked his father’s phone and eventually found him unresponsive in his vehicle.

Officers did not find any signs of foul play or anything suspicious. The body was released to a funeral home.
