On Sunday, January 29th, 2023, at 11:19 pm, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported disturbance in progress at a residence in the 1700 block of N Denair Ave, Turlock, after a woman had reported that her drunk husband was breaking things inside the home.

While officers were responding, they learned that the husband, Juan Maldonado, 35, of Merced, had a $50,000 felony Ramey warrant out of Merced for assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm.

Officers arrived on scene, made contact with the wife who was in her vehicle near the residence, and determined that no new crimes had been committed.

Officers then contacted Maldonado in the home and arrested him without incident.

Maldonado was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on his warrant.
