On Wednesday, December 14th, 2022, at 5:43 pm, a Turlock Police officer near 76 DoubleTime, 101 N Tully Rd, Turlock, observed and got out with a suspicious vehicle pulling a trailer.
The officer made contact with the vehicle’s driver, who identified himself as Casey Grant, 43, of Winton.
The officer began investigating and determined that the trailer’s vehicle identification number did not match the one that the license plate was assigned to. Further digging eventually led to the discovery that the trailer was stolen.
Grant was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of buying or receiving a stolen vehicle.
