On Wednesday, August 24th, 2022, at 12:16 am, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported larceny that had just occurred at Tractor Supply Company, 201 N Walnut Rd, Turlock, after a security guard had spotted a man stealing merchandise from the business and placed him under citizen’s arrest.
Officers arrived on scene and began investigating, learning that the suspect, Brandon Martin, 28, of Ceres, had concealed the stolen merchandise in his vehicle. While officers were recovering the stolen merchandise, they located a loaded firearm, leaded cane, and narcotics in the vehicle.
Martin was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of carrying a loaded firearm, possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded and operable firearm, possession of a leaded cane, and theft.
