On Saturday, February 12th, 2022, at 5:21 am, the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to a reported commercial burglary in progress at Regal Turlock, 2323 W Main St, Turlock, after a cleaning crew consisting of two females called to report that a man was attempting to force open the rear door of the building.
When officers arrived on scene, they found Alfredo Espinoza, 30, of Orland, walking away from the door that was described. Espinoza was detained while officers investigated the incident.
Evidence of the attempted burglary was located at the scene, including a screwdriver that was on the ground next to the door that was described, which belonged to Espinoza. Espinoza was also on probation for larceny related charges.
Espinoza was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of attempted burglary.
