On Thursday, August 13th, 2020, at approximately 1:05 pm, the Turlock Fire Department received a call of a dumpster fire at the Tilly’s located at 2737 Countryside Dr. The Turlock Fire Department responded with Battalion 4 and Engine 33. Battalion 4 arrived on scene at approximately 1:10 pm. Upon his arrival, he reported a dumpster fully involved on the back side of the business with no structures being immediately threatened and assumed Tilly’s command.

Engine 33 arrived on scene at approximately 1:12 pm. Engine 33’s Firefighter, with the assistance of Engine 33’s Engineer, began attacking the fire with a front bucket line. The fire was out at approximately 1:25 pm. The fire department believes that this fire is an arson due to the fact that multiple dumpsters in the area have been set on fire in the past few weeks.
