Merced Sheriff Update 05/24/11: The body found in a canal was positively identified as the missing person, Robin Boyd.
On Monday between 2:30 and 3:00pm, the Merced County Sheriff’s Office pulled a body out of a canal at Lander Avenue and Oslo Road in Hilmar. Positive identification has not been made yet but it is the same canal as the missing person Robin Boyd, 39 of Turlock, is suspected to have driven her car into on Thursday.
