Frances “Fran” Coleman, 85, of Turlock passed away at Brandel Manor on Wednesday, October 20. She was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada to Herman and Isabel Wright in 1925. In 1948, she graduated from Vancouver General Hospital with a Registered Nurse degree, and in 1951, she married Edwin Coleman in Seattle, WA. They moved to Davis, CA in 1953 and raised their two daughters. They loved to spend time at their cabin at Lake Tahoe. At Lake Tahoe, she enjoyed cross country skiing, boating and taking walks in the mountains. She also enjoyed swimming, visiting the coast, RVing, and being a 4-H leader in sewing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her six grandchildren and raising Collies.
