Turlock and the surrounding area are currently experiencing another widespread and long-lasting outage of Charter services. This outage is not statewide, however, it is regional.

Video, internet, and phone services have been impacted in the outage. There is currently no timetable for when services will be returned. Services have been down since approximately 1:30 p.m.

Previous services outages have been attributed to damaged fiber optic lines, resulting in outages that were hours long.

Details behind this outage are not yet available, but an update will be provided when more information is released.

Engineering teams are already responding to the issue to get it resolved.

"An issue with a third party carrier's network is impacting services for customers in the Turlock area. Our engineering team has engaged that carrier and are working to restore services as quickly as possible. We apologize to any customers who may be impacted," said Charter’s Regional Communications – Northwest representative, Brett Picciolo.
