Turlock police arrested a drunk driver Tuesday night after he was found passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle.

Officers received report of the vehicle, which was stopped halfway in the roadway in the 800 block of W. Main Street, shortly after 9 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found the driver, Brian Dismukes, 24, passed out behind the wheel of the vehicle, said Turlock police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb.

Dismukes was found to be under the influence of alcohol and a search revealed that he was in possession of heroin, said Webb.

He was arrested for drunk driving and possession of heroin.
