Turlock police caught two suspects dismantling a stolen vehicle and placing the parts in another stolen vehicle on Wednesday night.
An officer was patrolling the area near the 1300 block of Atlanta Court shortly after 9 p.m. on Wednesday when he spotted two subjects dismantling a vehicle, said Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.
The two subjects, later identified as Thomas Reed, 31, and Carri Blanco, 35, were dismantling a vehicle and placing the parts in a second vehicle, according to the Turlock Police Department.
Officers later found that both the vehicle Reed and Blanco were dismantling, as well as the vehicle they were placing the parts in, were stolen.
