Turlock police are looking for a male suspect believed to have robbed Del Taco on Sunday night.
A male suspect entered the Del Taco around 8:40 p.m. on Sunday and walked up to the register to order food from the employee.
After ordering food, the suspect demanded the money in register, said Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis. The suspect appeared to have a weapon concealed under a large camouflage jacket, said Lewis.
The suspect then fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
There were two customers in the restaurant at the time of the robbery, however no one was hurt during the robbery, said Lewis.
The suspect was described as a black male adult in his mid-20s, standing approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He has short black hair, with a dark complexion and stocky build. He was wearing a large camouflage jacket during the robbery.
Citizens are advised not to approach the suspect if they see him, as he may be armed. Anyone who sees the suspect or has information on the robbery are asked to contact the Turlock Police Department at 209-668-1200.
