Turlock police are searching for a suspect who fled from officers following a traffic stop late Monday night.
Officers attempted to make a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation around 11 p.m. on Monday night near the intersection of Lander Avenue and High Street.
According to Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis, the driver of the vehicle attempted to turn onto High Street and sideswiped a parked vehicle.
Once stopped, a passenger in the vehicle got out of the vehicle and fled on foot, said Lewis.
The driver, whose identity was not available at the time of this writing, was arrested and cited for driving without a license.
Officers searched the area for the suspect who had fled, but were unable to located the suspect.
At this time, there is no positive identification for the suspect, said Lewis.
There were no injuries in the collision.
