Quick containment of a fire in an RV trailer helped prevent damage to the business next to the trailer.
The Turlock Fire Department responded to the 1500 block of Venture Lane at approximately 9:26 a.m. on Wednesday.
The original report was of two travel trailers that had caught fire, said Battalion Chief Gary Carlson, however fire crews arrived to only find one trailer engulfed in flames.
Fire crews were able to get the fire under control within approximately 15 minutes of arrival, with overhaul taking about an hour.
Since the fire was contained quickly, there was no exposure damage.
The Turlock Fire Department determined that the cause was accidental, with the trailer being a full loss but no damage to the building. The dollar loss is estimated to be $35,000, reports the Turlock Fire Department.
There were no injuries caused by the fire.
Fire crews responded with three fire engines and one truck, for a total of 13 firefighters.
