Turlock police arrested a suspect on a felony drug warrant and commercial burglary after being caught attempting to return a television he had just selected from the store.

Shortly after noon on Thursday, officers responded to Walmart at 2111 Fulkerth Rd. on the report of a commercial burglary.

The suspect, later identified as Joshua Bergman, 30, had attempted to return a television that he had selected from the store.

According to Turlock police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis, Bergman had a receipt for the television, but the one he had attempted to return had been selected from the store during that trip.

When officers arrived, they also found that Bergman had a felony drug related warrant in his name.

Bergman was arrested and booked for the warrant and misdemeanor commercial burglary.
