Turlock police ultimately apprehended and arrested a suspect who fled from an officer on a bicycle late on Friday night.
Officers attempted to stop a male subject on Tuolumne Road allegedly riding a bicycle on the sidewalk at approximately 11:48 p.m.
The subject, later identified as Blake Babb, 19, allegedly did not have a light on his bicycle, said Turlock police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb.
While officers attempted to make the stop, Babb fled on bicycle, but then dropped the bike and fled on foot, said Webb.
Babb continued on foot, traveling northbound on Adrian Street, said Webb, and was ultimately apprehended by officers.
Officers found that Babb had a misdemeanor warrant.
Babb was arrested for the misdemeanor warrant and resisting arrested.
